Anyone used products from Lush?

They smell good, well most of them and are organic. Very tempting, but want to know if it is really THAT good before I indulge.

TIA! :)

I hate that they don't give samples here. Back home you got samples with every purchase. Actually they do... you just have to ask =) I always get samples with my Lush purchases... sometimes if I want to try something new, they give me a small sample even without any other purchase.

some are fab, some are a rip-off. I wasn't fussed on the shower bombs, but I'm using the green shampoo bar at the mo, my hair looks lush!

The soap bar shampoo for itchy head is great but it stinks! Love the bath fizz bombs. Very expensive in Dubai compared to UK.

Bar shampoo...lavender and cinnamon Retread shampoo (?) Hair masks and Face masks....love them all! *sorry forgot to add, also at Dubai Mall. Yes, pricey but they last and my hair/skin all seem happier! edited by dogcatcher on 20/10/2011

Dubai Mall is the most recent. There were LUSH shops in Deira City Centre and Mercato. Hopefully someone can update if these two are still open. Yes, still open.

I love Lush Soaps & use nothing but them. My favourite is the Figs & Leaves, its gr8 for dry skin & is a brilliant exfoliator.

i love lush products, they smell, well, so lush! i love it when the christmas products come out especially the ones with glitter or sheen in / on them, feels lovely and festive. but i have to say body shop festive vanilla spice with sheen is devine. the hair products are good and last forever, buts its a while since i used them as i now use label m. so i am not up to date with the latest ones. the one minus with the bar shampoos are its hard to get them out of the tin. my mum keeps buying me bath bombs even tho i dont like to bath, ( I shower !) but they make great foot soaks and you dont need to use much to get a great smell.

This last bar of soap smells kind of like coffee or chocolate, but even better than that, my skin is clean and not oily, yet also not dry or flaky. I haven't had to use lotion since I started using it, and I'm not breaking out with heat rash either. Who knew?!?!? I just bought it because it smelled good---

Love, love, love LUSH! I use the Dream Cream skin cream on the kids. DS gets allergic rashes on the tops of his legs and it's nice to calm the skin down. I love the soaps - which no-one else is allowed to use - and keep a bar beside my bed to sniff :)

I was gradually seduced into using Lush products, it started with a "Honey I washed the Kids" hunk of soap. Now I only use Lush shampoo bars since 2 years ago (they are expensive but last FOREVER) and the light conditioner that you can use every day is nice because it doesn't build up on your hair. Still love all the soaps, bath bombs are almost orgasmic (it only takes half, so you get two luxuious baths out of one bomb) I've used a few of the freshly made masks, but for the price I don't think their all that much more special than from off the shelf types, and they have to be used in a certain time frame because there aren't any preservatives. Since they are kept refridgerated, it's a little cumbersome. But the bath products, shampoo, and conditioners are GREAT. :D

I love their stuff because I like products which leave a scent on the skin - I always used to use their honey soap, I think it is called something like 'Honey I Washed The Kids', it's yummy. For some reason I have got out of the habit of buying it since I moved here. I regularly send Lush gifts to friends in the UK for birthdays, I would absolutely love to receive one of their huge gift boxes, they are amazing! And I am not particularly a products kind of person, I like the idea of it all but can never be bothered with it but I make an exception for Lush!

Completely agree! Infact, I have a friend who used their shampoo and saw great results. I have a really oily scalp, so was looking at trying out their deep cleaning shampoo. I guess I won't know unless I give it a try myself. Thanks Genie :-)

Personally I don't like lush. I find the smells too strong and don't want to smell like a strawberry or a pineapple or coconut etc But I have 2 friends who love their products and swear by them. One stayed with me last week and was raving about the deoderant - which looked like a piece of soap but she said it was brilliant - she also loves their strawberry smelling stuff - so I suppose it all comes down to personal taste.
