There is also a farmers market in JLT on Friday's from 10.30am....same people that were trading at Souk Al Bahar! You can park at Cluster U (near to the Marina metro station) and then walk down the steps towards the lake. There is also an organic shop there called Blue Planet Green People and from what I have found so far[b'> it is cheaper than the Organic Foods & Cafe.[/b'> Isn't everywhere cheaper than Organic Supermarket? True!

There's also a Saturday market in The Courtyard in Al Quoz. Fresh, local fruits and veggies; spices; sauces; baked goods and more. Love having these markets available, makes Dubai feel more like home!

I m living in the Marina and have been asking Baker and Spice several times when the market would be back. After having told me "soon/next month hopfully", they explained me last week that they had been caught organizing it without a licence...that s why the market didn t "reopen" last Nov. They are now trying to get a licence in order to be able to start it again in Nov.

Apparently, it happened at Baker & Spice on the Marina Promenade last year, so maybe this year too? http://www.ameinfo.com/292015.html http://www.hozpitality.com/news/announcements/1st-farmers-market-at-dubai-marina-promenade

was I dreaming when I heard there was going to be a Farmer's market in the Marina?Local fruits, veggies, et al? The Souk al Bahar Farmers Market has started again in a new venue! Fridays 9am - 2pm in the gardens opposite the Ballroom entrance at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. It started last week and will go on to the end of the season (about early May). It's a lovely setting under the shade of the Palm Trees with the birds singing and surrounded by flowers, parking is free in the Ballroom car park. Don't go to the hotel, go around the parimeter and the Ballroom car park is signposted. Lots of lovely fruit, veg, eggs, bread cakes, beans, pulses, honey, rice....all locally grown and freshly picked, and much of it is organic. Will definately be buying my produce here every week!

I telephoned Baker and Spice, and they said there will not be a market tomorrow, due to the marathon. They will resume the market next week, Friday March 3

Not sure, but you can call Baker & Spice and they'll be able to answer that question for you.
