ahhh ok... thanks for letting me know... i have a feeling DH might decide against it now... his idea of a chilled camping trip is (unfortunately!) one with a free flow of alcohol!

No, alcohol is not allowed. It's now owned by one of the Sheikhs. Booze was banned along time ago, due to people acting stupid and causing damage - like driving a jetski into the side of one of the VERY expensive house boats - since then, it's a no no.
