Tesla Sculpt and Emsculpt are new non-invasive body sculpting procedures that help strengthen muscles and burn fat for less of the time and cost.
Both are available at Dr. Kamil Al Rustom Skin and Laser Centre in Dubai, one of the emirate's most sought-after clinics specialising in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and aesthetic medicine.
What are Tesla Sculpt and Emsculpt?
Tesla Sculpt and Emsculpt are a new generation of electromagnetic systems for body reshaping.
They apply a super-electric impulse generated by an electromagnetic field to muscles to induce forced muscular contractions. This automatic reaction is equivalent to an intensive strength exercise such as 10,000 squats or sit-ups.
The treated muscles are remodeled and reshaped, resulting in more toned and firmer muscles, such as abs, thighs, and buttocks, for a better aesthetic appearance.
Each patient is advised on an individual program that depends on her body's needs and goals: fat burning, muscle growth, firmness, stretching, and muscle massage.
How effective are they?
Clinical studies have shown an average of 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat and a 25% increase in muscle thickness.
Do Tesla Sculpt or Emsculpt procedures hurt?
Tesla Sculpt and Emsculpt enable the effects to be brought without pain, downtime, or any discomfort.
Who is eligible for Tesla Sculpt or Emsculpt?
Anyone can be the perfect candidate for Tesla Sculpt or Emsculpt, but more so a focus on people...
- Who have localised fat on the abdomen and thighs.
- With less fat and lean muscle on the abdomen and buttocks.
- Who are already skinny and need to work out
- Who are already in shape and workout regularly but would like an extra intensive workout for a specific body area.
What is the required BMI?
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person’s weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters.
Dr. Kamil Al Rustom Skin and Laser Centre has an essential requirement: All candidates interested in Emsculpt or Tesla Sculpt must have a BMI of less than 24.
If this isn’t the case and the BMI is over 25, professionals recommend additional programs with other devices, such as Cooslculpting and Exilis. Both are used for body sculpting and body contouring.
Coolsculpting and Exilis are available at Dr. Kamil Al Rustom Skin and Laser Centre.
How many sessions are required?
For the best results, 6-8 sessions are required, scheduled twice weekly. Each session lasts 30 minutes for each body area.
After the procedure, the patient might experience muscle soreness, which is a natural result of exercise.
The result of muscle toning is visible after treatment. However, after completing all the sessions, the final result of the muscles and fat will come out.
Results last 3 to 6 months but will depend on the patient's conditions, such as age, gender, muscle mass, and fat thickness.
You begin to feel tangible results right after the treatment. Positive results are usually reported two to four weeks after the last session and continue improving for several weeks after the treatments.
Which body area does the Tesla Sculpt and Emsculpt target?
A Tesla Sculpt and Emsculpt procedure can be done in any area of the body where there is muscle.
The most common areas are the abdomen, things, arms, calves, and buttocks.
