Please tell me its just a phase, my little DD has been so grumpy the last couple of days. She wont sleep unless im holding her or lying next to her in bed! The minute I put her down she starts crying, this is so hard cause I cant get anything done during the day. This means she has little 10min naps and ends up crying the whole day cause she is over tired.

She doesnt have a temp and she burps well after every feed, I dont know what else it could be.
Any ideas ladies?

TIA

Aw bless 2Blossom, good to know im not alone. I want to get a sling, does anyone know they sell them in dubai? I dont mind cuddling and holding her the whole day,the chores can wait! But I am just scared that there is something wrong with her? Call me a paranoid first time mom:) I didn’t meant to sound that you minded holding her. There is a baby wearing workshop in Dubai let me find the latest info on their next meeting and get back to you.

Same here, i would say growth spurt. DD was the same last week and she is much more settled today. 9weeks on Wed. Hang in there. The most important thing to remember is EVERYTHING is a phase!! Yup - seems like both our DD's were full of [i'>sh&t[/i'> last week ;)

Just Kidding sell slings. I just had a look online. They have now moved to the Gold & Diamond Park. When I told my midwife about DS's unsettled period she suggested cutting out dairy and wheat to see if that improved it or not. Could that really make a difference?

Snowflake12 - I went through exactly the same thing last week!!! And my DD is now 9 weeks today! I definitely put it down to a growth spurt. I know there is a "[i'>mini[/i'>" one coming up at 9 weeks and a big one at 12 weeks, however I am convinced - hers either started last week or she is going through one at the moment! She is 9 weeks today and currently has been sleeping since 12 o'clock and had a mini nap in the morning as well! If she had one nap during the day last week, it would've been a miracle ;) Hang in there, am hoping for your sake - it's a growth spurt as well x

Do you have a sling, you can try carrying her around for a while get her settled. If the chores can wait then let them, hold her, carry her, let her sleep on your chest or near you while you read or watch TV, my second and third were like that too, it’s also a common time for growth spurts.

I'm going through the same thing with my 4 week old. He's very unsettled first thing in the morning so from 7am - about 2pm I can't get anything done as he just wants to be cuddled. Like your LO, he has little naps and wakes up crying when he realises that I'm not cuddling him. The most I can get him down for is 20 minutes and I'm worried since he's only so young he's not getting enough sleep. Sorry I can't help, just letting you know you're not alone
