Lulee - Yep. Know the location. Years ago there used to be an Abela Supermarket there. Will head there tomorrow hopefully to secure some distilled water!

Lulee: Wasl Road is so long -- which end or near where. I think there may be a run on distilled water! Wasl Road and Safa Street. It's across the Emirates Bank. Is that helpful?

I did a search on this a couple of months ago and came up with this thread ... http://www.expatwoman.com/qatar/forum/topic194758-can-you-buy-distilled-water-here.aspx I needed distilled water for my steam iron, so went and bought 'battery water' (as it is called at the ENOC/EPPCO) stations. I did use it in my iron but I'm not entirely convinced it's okay to use as it doesn't specifically say distilled water on it. I would not be comfortable using it on my face. Having said that, you could always call the factory mentioned in the link and see how that goes. Let us know if you have any luck. Thanks.

I have looked for years and gave up. A long time ago, you would occasionally run into a gallon of it at Safeway - but I have not seen it there for at least 6 + years. I would love to hear if anyone else has had any luck. Given up, too. Luckily it's not my humidor lol

How do you make vitC serum? Is it for drinking or topical use? Yes it's topical. I have not made it before, but found the recipe online. It's L ascorbic acid powder or crystals, glycerin and distilled water. That's the basic one. You can even add Vitamin E oil, ferulic acid, etc. I'm going to stick to the basic one if I can find distilled water.

Aargh I should've asked before I bought the rest of the ingredients. I want to make my own vitamin c serum. I don't have a dryer. Thanks Jdxb I did go into one petrol station and they didn't have any. I'll try a few more and call ACE tomorrow.

Depends what you need it for, but saving up the water from the dryer may do the trick.

Have you checked petrol stations and places like ACE hardware, as it used to top up car batteries (older style ones)
