Happy New Year! I was just out on our balcony watching the Global Village fireworks, and now I can see lots of what look like fireballs, launching from somewhere and floating over AR?

Anyone know what these are? Just 'cause I'm nosy :)

Hi GirlAnachronism and Happy New Year ladies! It was a house party in AR... at midnight every couple were given thouse bags call "Glow Skies" We had to light it and as Fragglexx said they rise up in to the air and then travel for miles :))) Never saw it before but we enjoyed it sooo Much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want i can send you some photos of the lightning process...... Hi - I saw them once in Alma and was AMAZED!!! Where can you get them from??

yeah we were at a house party too where the guests lit them, and as ours flew away, we saw other houses doing them for miles.... no they r not UFO's :P

Happy New Year to you, too! And to all EWers. Think these are the lights which used to be at Global Village but are now based at the new Hamdan Sports Centre on the Bypass Road. Saw these these a week or so when we were on our way into town. And we can see these lights from our home in Saheel at AR, too.
