Just to update those looking for beds. I checked out the Magniflex beds this morning, they have an interesting range of products, their Orthobamboo beds are made with natural material such as cotton mix bamboo fabric with hypoallegenic anti dust mite features as well as fire resistant and 10 year warranty. They seemed excellent quality, very supportive yet comfortable, I am now seriously considering one of these. They are made in Italy and I was told until this Sunday there is a special offer discount on all their beds. more about the OrthoBamboo beds here http://www.neo-living.com/ edited by Di@DXB on 26/04/2013

I have recently bought 3 mattresses for my kids beds from Silent night in Home Centre at IBN battuta (Homes R Us offer is still on I believe - 200 dhs voucher for every 500 spent and it covers the silent night stuff). I bought 1 standard size, and 2 specials. Good quality mattresses make and deliver in 7 ish days, but then I am looking for a max 5 year life, and Silentnight give a 5 year warranty on their mattresses Mattresses for DH and i - we have a Sealy Cosmo Orthopaedic (with matching base) and it is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on - it is about 30cm deep!! edited by loube on 25/04/2013 edited by loube on 25/04/2013

Thank you all for feedback. Good to know about Silent night! Read on an older post that Intercoil is also good - does anyone know where they are sold? Would welcome any other recommendations and ones to avoid! Intercoil made overseas may be good but I once had an Intercoil made here and never again, worst matress I have ever slept on. I woke up with pains in my hips and numbness in my arms every morning.

I bought Kingsize silentnight beds for the kids rooms at Dh 6,000 each and they are trashy and worse than that, we also ordered Silentnight beds for our apartment in London....and they are disgusting quality. I will never, ever touch that company again. I am now going to buy a Savoir bed for the London place. Here we have a Super KS King Koil. It is donkeys years old and still a super top bed. I have never slept in one so fine.

Thanks TDB - very reasonable pricing. Will definitely have a look. Di@DXB - our current mattress is Sealy Posturepedics. Had it for about 14-15 years and it's still in great condition (we turn it every month) - we've been really happy with it. Where did you seen them in Dubai? We are looking for a new bed for our teenage son. The Sealy shop I know of is opposite Karama Central Post Office. They quoted me 6k for a standard King size posturepedic divan, it seems the best deal to me so far for what I need, am going to check out other places so if I find anything that compares or better will let you know.

I am looking for a new bed too, I bought a SilentNight from Homes R Us three years ago and it has not lasted that well although not even used the whole time. I looked at Sealy Posturepedics the other day and they seem very nice quality, has anyone bought a Sealy and is happy with it?

Thank you all. I hear Debenhams has a 50% sale on at the moment, wouldn't it be great if the applied to their beds or mattresses as well?! Thanks TDB - had a look at the everrest.ae website, looks very promising - do you mind me asking what type of pricing for mattresses?

I have definitely seen Silent Night sold in Debenhams here in the past, although I can't recall seeing them recently..but then I haven't been looking for them either. I know that the MOE Debenhams sold the beds on the third floor at the back, near where the entrance to Starbucks is. I saw them a few weeks back

Hi looking to buy a new bed - big investment, I know. Understand Debenhams' Silent Night is good. Does anyone know if they sell beds in Dubai?
