Hey!
Does anyone know any fitness classes in Dubai under 50aed for the hour? I am struggling to find somewhere that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!
If anyone knows of anywhere near the Marina or the surrounding areas, please let me know?!
Thanks!

Dubai Sea Dragons don't have any criteria :) Google us and you should get our website. We are doing some free sessions in July and August, but if you want to come down earlier then just drop us a mail. There is a contact page on the website that you can email us through.

Try dragon boating. My club offers some initial free sessions and so do other clubs. You can choose one based on the hours you are free as clubs train at different times. dubai sea dragons plus search dragon boating uae for the other clubs Dragon Boating sounds interesting! do they have a criteria to join?

True, they will never bothered about your exercise. Until u ask for their expensive PT's. Many people like to hire certified freelancer PT.

If it's about your health y go for cheaper. After all health is wealth :) An expensive gym is not an indication to better health ;) I had a membership with one of the well known gyms here, classes were good but the trainer never bothered to correct postures or moves, in the weights section no PT bothered to help or show members how to use the equipments, but they using to push members to buy their overpriced PT sessions, after starting prices used to up without notice. Now I have a membership in a cheaper gym, the classes are nice and all staff are helpful. A good service has nothing to do with the price you pay

DVD's are always an option too. Virgin has a Fitness section in their DVD area. You can also find tons of free networks on youtube. Nothing can take the place of a good instructor but if you are experienced in yoga DVDs are always nice because you can press pause and take that extra time to practice a particular pose.

if you can get a group together, you could try hiring your own personal instructor then split the cost

rates are very high indeed. I would love to take Zumba,Yoga classes, but the prices are way too high. The Zoga Yoga costs 85 AED for one session! And I get a 10% discount, and I still will not go. Luckily we have a free gym so I go there until maybe one day I am willing to pay that much for a session :).

Many gyms offer a discounted rate if you bulk buy classes, so buy 10 get one free. Might be worth asking.

It really depends on how often you are going to go to a class, if you are a regular then it would be cheaper to join a gym. I go to Fitness First at Media City which is a Platinum club so is around 4400 for the year. I go to around 8 classes a week so works out at 10 dirhams a class!

Check Fitwoman UAE on Facebook. Classes are 55AED, are outdoors and meet at Marina Mall. I think OP wants under AED50 which seems to be the going rate :) I realise - I thought the location may be appealing, given that she mentioned that too.

This fitness warehouse is for the hardcore among us – head there any time of day and you’ll find someone to chat to about the latest and greatest fitness techniques. Chatting on the phone to them can be a bewildering experience, but the pay-per-exercise system is unbeatable. Dhs30 per visit (04 338 3389). I don't know how up to date this is
