I want to buy a Nespresso Machine and am thinking of getting either the Citiz Turmix or the Essenza Turmix. Does anyone have either one of these and how do you find it? If you have a different Nespresso machine, which one and what do you think of it?
Thanks for your feedback.

it is a bit awkward to find as it is not on the ground floor. If you drive along the service road on SZH going out of town from defence roundabout it is on your right nearly beside the metro station, just right by the bridge going across to the Dubai Mall station, near the Porsche showroom. Bit of a mare to get there but worth it!

I know you mentioned Nespresso but have you considered a Lavazzo? I bought one for my husband and he adores it. It was only 399 dhs, pods are 60 dhs for 24 or 30 I think and it produces amazing coffee, hot chocolate and even tea. Comes in a variety of colours and although the shop to get stuff from is in an awkward location, they deliver pods to your house. They also offer free 'workshops' to make the perfect cuppa and are so lovely. My mate has a Nespresso which she loves but paid over 2k for it and it doesn't even have a frother! Where did you buy the Lavazzo?

Hi Tiger, All Nespresso machines meet certain requirements (mainly the pressure) and so the coffee should be equally good in all. I agree with other posters that you should have an automatic rather than a manual-- so you press the button for short or long, and don't have to stand there watching your cup fill (or overflow, if the phone rings!). Otherwise it's all about the style and colour (and whether or not to have the milk frother)... If you want froth capability I would recommend getting the frother separately, unless you have the counter space for Citiz&Milk. The ones with built-in frothers are more likely to have "technical issues" (this from a contact at Nespresso). (Or as posted the microwave is fine-- but if you have kids they love having frothy milk!) Between the Essenza and the Citiz, either is fine, I have had both and have never had a problem-- and coffee tastes the same.

This is the model we have w/a separate milk jug. Very efficient little number :) http://www.nespresso.com/uk/en/product/citizandmilk-coffee-machine-krups-xn7006-fire-engine-red

We have the small Essenza with the automatic cup measuring and love it - doesn't take up too much room on the kitchen bench. We also have the separate plug-in milk heater/frother for when needed and reccomend both. Love my Nespresso! Only problem is.... coffee always tastes so much better at home than out!

I have The Cube which I think has been discontinued now! My one piece of advice would be make sure you get one which has automatic settings for a short and a long cup size, my life is so much better now I don't have to stand and wait for the cup to fill to the right level. (I am on my 3rd machine in about 15 years!!).

I have the cube by magimix, great machine, great coffee! I also have the foaming machine which I adore! It's just great and now I can make coffee's just the way I like them. Did find the coffee cups quite expensive here in the UAE and get people to bring them with from home.

Thanks Basil, I wasn't going to get the milk attachment, thinking of doing the same as you and heating the milk in the microwave. I'm moving back to Oz soon and was a little concerned it might be hard to get the capsules there but have been in contact with Nespresso on line and it seems to be quite easy to get them.

I have the bottom of the range one, not sure of name. They are great so dont go getting the most expensive as all u want is a cup of coffee. We actually have 2, our other 1 back in OZ. We actually heat the milk in the microwave then pour over the coffee.
