Any idea where I can find minimizer bras in Dubai? I have looked around and no one seems to be carrying big cup sizes in minimizer style.

Haven't been to blooming dales, any idea what range and brands they carry?

There is a bra lady here - her company is called Boudoir Chic - and she does carry some minimizers. She's lovely. You can see her on Facebook. If you know your fit and size, you could also order from www.lindathebralady.com . She has loads of styles and colors and a really simple search engine. And they ship to Dubai. Norak, if you like lillyette, you would probably love wacoal's minimizers. They cost a bit more but last forever.

Thanks ladies. Just so happened I have dear friend who left for the States last night. We met up and I have her some money to pick me up some Bali and/or Lillyette's - those that minimize l-3/4" -- just love them. I will check on K-Lynn as I have never been inside the store.

Norak, Mostly the stores here are full of fancy stuff than good functional ones. I loved the wonder bra's minimized but it seems they too have stopped that model. Didn't find any at Bendon....... Any experience anyone with the shops in the Jumeirah plazas on beach road? Any good stuff there for us big girls trying to look small......

I have never been able to find any at Debenhams but Marks & Spencer sell them for sure. Bendon sell larger size bras but not sure if they do minimizers.

Doublefun - This thread was timely as I was just searching over the weekend (online) for my favorite minimizer bra. I like the Lilyette Style 217 but, apparently, they are a discontinued style number but can be found online. There were a couple of places that shipped international or check out amazon. I have been lucky (on occasion) to find a couple of bras at Brands for Less, but it is so hit and miss to find a minimizer let alone your size. Love the store but you have to go frequently to get lucky. I also did a search for what brands people liked (that were new) as I have not been back to the States for awhile and no up to date on much. I just don't care to shop much here. I would be interested to know if Bloomingdales carried brands such as Platex etc. I need to go over there one day and snoop around. Good luck and let us know what you find.
