Today, they went to the souks, crossing the creek on an abra and taking the abra to have a play in Creek Park. DD (6yo) refused to go in the spice souk 'coz she didn't like the smell which is a shame, coz MIL and her DH really wanted to go.
That's it really, they've been at the swimming pool chilling the day before.
Ditto , exactly what my dd did today with my MIL, she loved it all except she's never going back to the spice souk lol they got the metro the big bus and went on the Abra they really enjoyed theirselves .
How about you pack them a picnic and they go to Safa Park. They can easily while away a few hours there with the train ride, pedal car/bike things, play grounds, boating lake etc. The weather is still just about cool enough but there are tons of shaded areas there anyway and mid week they will practically have it to themselves. My LO LOVES it. They could then take a cab to Dubai Mall for a stroll and an ice-cream, or a cupcake and a reviving cup of tea.
HTH :)
How about a trolley ride around Dubai Mall-stroll through Souq al Bahar-watch the daytime fountain displays etc
