Huge congrats Mr & Mrs Dollymud. Welcome little Harry! It's amazing falling in love with these tiny little people who very quickly start to take over your lives. Enjoy every second. My DS is nearly 4 months now. It's just wizzed by in a flash and I'm really starting to miss having a newborn. Congrats once again.

Oh Congratulations! That is wonderful news, well done Mummy! Funny, we now have a few things in common - My DS was also born on the 24th (a year ago), a little early as well, and his name is Harrison - Harry for short! Just had to share the co-incidence! Enjoy, your wonderful little man! They are just delicious!!

Aaaaaah congratulations to you Dollymud!! And yes, a very dramatic entrance to the world, am so glad that both you and baby Harry are OK! Gorgeous name too! I was 37 weeks on Thurs and feeling like I could pop at any time - it's reassuring to know that I am now officially full-term as was worried about having her early. DH is back from his flying visit to the UK - phew! - and very pleased that I obeyed instructions to not have our first baby without him, LOL! Enjoy your little bundle of joy and maybe see you at a coffee morning in the not too distant future :)

Baby Dollymud is here! and i'm so in love! Baby Harry arrived Monday 24th January, at 8.16 pm , a bit early ( 37 + 2 but perfect) weighing 6lb 8oz. Well he had dramatic entrance, i hadn't felt him move all day on Monday and went with my strong feeling that something was wrong and called Dr Braithwaite late afternoon, she told me to pop over to labour ward and get heartbeat checked I went to the American Hospital to see midwife, she hooked me up to monitor at which time time Dr B turned up she said she wanted baby out as his heartbeat was showing a little distress so she decided to start my labour she broke my waters and left to do my admisssion, but within 10 mins she was back and had decided to do emergency c section as baby was still showing distress, so within an hour or so of arriving i was having my gorgeous boy! When the Dr pulled him out he had his cord around his neck, 3 times ! and was quite blue! she said she had never seen it so bad, he was so lucky, thank goodness i had the best Dr who acted quickly as i dread to think what would have happened otherwise. Well we are now home and im so happy babies are yum! And it goes to show you should always trust your instincts! Right going for sneaky cuddle i can't put him down he's too perfect :):):)
