yeh i am very happy... Hope there is no or little rain.....
thanks Paris 6... the websites you have given are amazing ...
visit to champagne and park asterix looks fab...
My husband said yesterday that we can also go to Switzerland if I want..
I think it would be good for us but would it be too much for my 4 year old ?
Is it a good idea ??
IMO, Park Asterix is more suitable for young children and also accessible from Paris: http://www.parcasterix.fr/
Disneyland is fab, you can also pay a visit to Champagne, 1h driving from Disneyland: http://www.hautvillers.fr/default_en.asp
and the int shopping center right next to disneyland: http://www.lavalleevillage.com/en/home/home
good link for tourism: http://en.parisinfo.com/
have a nice stay!
Ooh, lucky you, we've always wanted to stay there! You'll all have a great time! Don't forget to take raincoats and cold weather clothes as May in Paris is not necessarily very nice - just be prepared and dressed up for the weather and it'll still be great fun!
The Musees Rodin and Cluny are both worth seeing, as is the Musee d'Orsay (has the Impressionists which used to be in the Jeu de Paume). The Palais de Versailles and the Hameau de Marie Antoinette are lovely in nice weather.
Just booked Disneyland Hotel for 5 days in may.
Thank you all .. all your comments , tips helped ..
Ohhhh lucky you!!! Hope you have a fab time :) Disneyland is fab
Hi,
We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel last year we were there for 2 nights and 3 days, which was too short IMHO, we were advised to not go for the 4 or 5 days by friends as they said it would be too long, but wish we had stayed longer....
It was fabulous, and the hotel was magical! It was about 4x the price of the other hotels though, but we loved being able to walk to the park and pop back to the room if we needed a break etc... also I am told its far less crowded than the other hotels...
We had lunch and dinner a few times at the Planet Hollywood which was nice and not too expensive compared to the restaurants around.
We went in June for 5 nights and stayed at Sequoia Lodge and it was perfect, we had a brilliant time. I did not want to rush it all in 2/3 days so 5 nights was lovely. Once day kids were just tired so we took it easy and one day we went to Paris for the day and had a fab time - a non Disney day !
It was all wonderful and my LO did not want to get on the train to leave back to UK !!! Though my DH says 3 or 4 nights would be enough I found it really relaxing, if I went again I would hassle for 3/4 nights
;)
Thank You all for the response and tips ...
My DD was happy to meet father christmas but she looked little suspicious of whether he was real lol..
So I want to take her to disney early so she can enoy the magic.
Have been looking thru some websites and have some questions..
1) Are 2 days enough for disneyland , both parks..
2) Are their enough rides for a tall 4 year old.
3)Should we stay Sequoia lodge for the lake and cycles or Disneyland hotel for the disney thing..
4) What are the must do in paris other then Arc de Triomphe , Notre Dame , louver , Champs Elysees and Eiffel tower.
5) Should we book shows and breakfast with mickey before we leave.
We took our niece to Disneyworld florida, aged 2 1/2 and Disneyland Paris aged 3 and 4. She loved them all, but was a bit overwelmed in Florida. We found the Paris site to be much easier to get around, and you can easily do both parks in 2 days. We stayed at the Sequoia lodge on both stays and loved it, especially seeing all the characters around the hotel without all the huge q's you get in the park. If we had the money though we would definately stayed at the Disney hotel, it looked stunning. We took her to Cafe Disney for dinner which she loved, even though she hardly eat anything as was too distracted by the characters. The walk to park around the lake in the morning is lovely. There are loads of rides for that age group, probably better than for older kids as there arent that many big rides. Oh but dont go into the Snow White ride, which we thought would just be a lovely train ride - ended up frightening her to death. Oh I so need to go back!

I took my boys to Disneyland Paris when they were 5 & 6 and they had a blast....so i highly recommend it. We went to Disney in Hong Kong and my boys were bored out of their mind. They preferred Ocean Park in Hong Kong over Disney. So pls do not choose Hong Kong Disney. I booked our package through Dnata nad got a great deal.
We have taken ours to the one in Florida and the one in Paris a couple of times and they both absolutely loved it! I think it's really magical when they are little. My little boy didn't like Father Christmas when he was little but LOVED all the characters - they were both sooooo excited to see Mickey Mouse. I think at 4 she will be fine. the Small small world ride is lovely. Mine are 6 and 7 now so I expect we will do it one more time but the best one for me was when my little girl was 4 - she smiled the whole day!
Hi, Sunrays! Just to let you know that our daughter was scared of Father Christmas until she was around 6 years old, so I would think if yours was all right when she met Father Christmas, she'll be fine at EuroDisney :)
We went to Disneyland, Paris for the first time when our daughter was about 6, I think. We thought any younger would have been too overwhelming for her - as it was, she was quite scared by all the huge
Thanks simpleasabc (like ur name) , yes after seeing the website , even i felt that it would be little too much for 4 year old. But my DD likes mickey ,mini . also she likes dressing up like princess with the crown and all.. she is in her fairytale land ..so i thought it would be fun for her..

We went to Disneyland, Paris for the first time when our daughter was about 6, I think. We thought any younger would have been too overwhelming for her - as it was, she was quite scared by all the huge Disney characters wandering around and wasn't able to go on many of the rides that interested her as she was too short for them (the famous teacups didn't interest her much, she wanted to go on the Thunder Mountain Railway!). She enjoyed going on the train, the Peter Pan ride and the cartoon drawing in the Studios part. The Parade was a bit much for her. Oh, and what she really, really enjoyed were the free shows, (because the big Disney characters were on stage and not up close and personal) so try and get yourselves into as many of those as possible.
Top Tip: Get yourselves "Fast Passes" for as many of the rides as you can.
Enjoy!
