Cancer with Cardiac problem
hey all,
I was diagnosed with breast cancer recently. I have two different types of cancer in each breast. One is inflammatory breast cancer and the other one is malignant tumor.I have had core biopsy in one (procedure done by Dr, Alex,) and a punch biopsy(done by Dr. Houriya Kazim) in the other.
I have hypothyroid,psoriasis,hypertension and a block in one artery.
The doctor would like me to begin chemotherapy, a few sessions and then get mastectomy done. But, before chemo, the doctors have advised me to get angioplasty done as chemotherapy can have some adverse effect or weaken the heart muscle.
I dont know any good,reputable cardiologist here in Dubai... Do any of you know someone who is experienced in angioplasty? I am thinking of going to Mumbai(India) for angioplasty,as I am from Mumbai.But, I am very apprehensive and scared about angio as well as everything thats happening. Dr.Houriya kazim is very good.I have faith in her. But it is the angioplasty part that scares me.
Has anyone had similar problem? I do have my husband and three lovely children who are doing a lot for me for which I am very grateful to God.
I would appreciate it very much if I can connect with some one who has gone through a similar experience and can help with some advice and moral support.
