I get all my Persian carpets - wool and silk - cleaned at Sheba Iranian Carpets in Sharjah. They are located in the Blue Souq (Central Souq). Rashad is very helpful, even has picked up and dropped off on occasions. His number is: 0506786168 I hope this is helpful.

I just had churchill come out and clean my couches yesterday. They charged 84 per seat. They did an amazing job. My couch was so water stained and dirty that I thought there was no hope... I was set to turf the thing and hunt for something new. It was embarrassing. Since I couldn't find a new sofa that was both nice and within budget, I decided to try and have them cleaned. I'd tried cleaning on my own and it just made the watermarks worse. Anyway... The couch looks nearly new. They got all the dirt and water marks out and it looks amazing. They weren't that quick though.. they worked on that couch for two hours. I assume its because I let it get that bad with kids and cat paws....

I use a company called Churchill. They come to your house and they are fast and efficient. They did a great job for me. I can't remember how much I paid them as was a year ago but I remember that they were really affordable. You can reach them on 800 7076 or [email protected]. My sofa which is a 5 seater and cream! was 250AED they even got the red wine out ooops Just to let everyone know that Churchill's has put their prices up from AED 80 to AED 86 per seat for wet cleaning so a 5 seater is now AED430. I have the guys here now and they said that it's never been AED 250 to clean a 5 seater. Hello i used them last year 2 filipino guys and it most definately cost me 250AED I wouldn't pay 430 or 350 as that is a rip off edited by louisedvs on 04/10/2012 Well they are here now cleaning my sofa set that my daughter threw up on. Lucky you that you paid 250! Me not so lucky so I thought I'd let people know so they have an idea re the new prices. They and the office said 250 is the minimum charge they come out for so they would charge 250 for say a 3 seater. They said it's been aed 80 per seat since they opened and changed to 86 per seat begining of the month. Is your 5 seater 1 sofa with a long cushion? Maybe they classed it as a 3 seater? edited by starsouthern on 04/10/2012 No and on refelection i think i had a cobone voucher the prices are very high now as if my memory serves me correctly they weren't at the house for very long either!

Thanks srmommy, but it's just a normal rug, not persian and my sofas need cleaned, i was hoping to get a number of someone who does it in my home. p.s. wish i had this number before i gave my rug to a cleaner one year ago, a persian, a wedding gift from very well off relatives. They destroyed it!! :(
