If you’re looking to spend some time outdoors, Hatta is now a haven for anyone who loves to hike while enjoying amazing views.

City Hiking, the first phase of the Hatta hiking project, has recently been launched. It comprises a 9km trail that links popular tourist attractions, including the Hatta Biking Track and Hatta Kayak.
It also goes through:
- Hatta Heritage Village
- Al Tala Park
- The three dams
- Family recreational areas
- Several farms in Al Sharia
- The fruit and vegetable market
- The Hatta 360 project
This first phase finishes at the Hatta Dam, which is also where the second phase will start.

There are currently four hiking trails. The first one is a 3km flatland hiking trail and the other two are mountain hiking trails. Those two have different levels of difficulty to suit experiences bikers, as well as beginners and disabled individuals.

The project’s goal is to give visitors the opportunity to explore the region in new ways and therefore, attracting more visitors to Hatta. This project was launched by the Dubai Municipality Hatta Centre and it’s meant to help the development of the area and showcase its natural attractions and its history.
