Tourist visas for Oman have been extended to March 2021.

Officials urge all to residents and visitors to continue complying with quarantine rules.
Ahmed Al Mehrazi, Minister of Tourism confirmed on Thursday, June 6 that the validity of tourist visas will be extended until March 2021.
In an interview with local media, the Minister said that all tourist visas issued from March 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020 will get an extension till March 2021.
The news comes as a relief to many visitors in the country who have been stranded since international travel restrictions were implemented.
At the time of publishing, Oman health officials reported 1,067 new COVID-19 patients and 6 deaths, bringing the total to 19,954 confirmed cases.
The sultanate has reached a total of 129,527 coronavirus tests.
