I am french and I love knitting.

I am looking for old Barbie (or Fullah ) dolls. Anyone who has Barbie dolls lying abandonned and unloved, and willing to bring a smile to the face of poor little girls somewhere, can contact me.

I make beautiful outfits for Barbie dolls and then take them to France and send them to a french charity organization named "Espoir sans Frontieres" (Hope without borders) . The dolls are then sent to orphanages in Sri Lanka, India, Haiti, even to Central Europe and Africa.

I started with this project last year and I have already sent 75 dolls. Most of them were sent to Haiti, some of them were sold at the Xmas fair to help pay for a heart operation for Maria, a 12 years old girl from Peru.

Finding dolls is the most difficult part....Please help if you can. Thank you

Just wanted to say what a lovely thing to do! Unfortunately there is no way my little girl will give up her Barbies at the moment but will keep you in mind for the future. Good luck with collecting some dolls.
