Oman Residents to Enjoy a Long Weekend in November

Start planning your public holiday getaway!

Oman citizens and residents can expect two extended weekends this November.

The extra days off are thanks to the nation's National Day celebrations, set to fall on November 18 - 19, 2019 and Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday on the 12th of Rabi Al Awal (Islamic calendar).

As the Prophet's birthday is determined by the Lunar calendar, the actual dates of public holidays in honour of his birthday are yet to be announced.

According to the Oman Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs calendar, the estimated date for the Prophet’s birthday is Saturday, November 9, 2019. If so, there is a strong chance that November 10, 2019 will be a public holiday.

As the extended National Day holiday is less than a month away, it's the perfect time to start planning a staycation in Oman or enjoy an exciting activity. We found and handpicked the best deals in Oman to enjoy during the long weekends.
