Dear ladies

Can you recommend a bottled water supplier etc? As it's getting hotter, and I'm having problems with my hands (arthritis), I'm having increasing problems carrying the water bottles home and would like to explore the possibility of getting it delivered. Would be happy with a table top dispenser as not too bothered abt having ice cold water.

Hubby has been on at me for months to get it delivered.

Many thanks ?

We have our bottled water delivered by Nestle - tastes great and they also supply water coolers/ dispensers. Low sodium and BPA free!

AquaPlus is great, I love that it's BPA free. They supplied the cooler in the deal we got and they deliver whenever you want. Go to their website and have a look, it's also delicious water!!

We ended up having a water filter installed. I just did not like how the bottles sit in the sun for so long.

We've been here for 35 years and have gotten through quite a few water coolers from the supermarkets and then I found Oasis, they are much better quality coolers and they do repairs on them. We've had our current one for over 10 years! You can choose a cooler from their website and they will deliver it free. I've even bought one for a housewarming present, and it went down brilliantly. Like you, I like my water at room temperature but it's nice to have cooled water for visitors who like their water that way. They also deliver replacement water bottles, every week on a regular basis but if you run out mid week, they will also deliver, for free. Their website is Oasiscome2life.com. I can't recommend them highly enough. P.S. We buy books of vouchers, so we just put out our empty bottles with a voucher in it and don't have to leave cash on our doorstep.

Aqua plus are nice, they come in a pretty purple bottle. And the bottle is also BPA free. Masafi are also good, the bottle is smaller and lighter to flip over, they also deliver boxes of water and other products. I find the masafi bottles fit fine on my hitachi cooler (and my previous one nikai) never had to buy a special cooler to accommodate them. Some water companies also deliver the water cooler. Oasis has a few models on their website. Do you have any preference for mineral water or bottled water? The only two mineral waters that deliver (that I know of) are al ain and masafi. The rest all seem to be bottled water.

We use AquaPlus good company and never a problem with delivery. It's also the nicest tasting water I've had out here http://www.myaquaplus.com/ I would also recommend the Midea cooler, where the bottle goes in the bottom. Much easier to change. edited by Geordie expat on 05/04/2015

Have you also seen the bottom loading dispensers. Theres a brand called 'Midea' in Carrefour and Sharaf DG and not only is it easier to load the bottle, without having to lift it up but it looks so much smarter without having that huge water bottle on show.

I use Masafi, they deliver 4 gallon bottles which are slightly smaller than the usual 5 gallon bottles delivered by the majority of companies. It does mean you need to purchase their dispenser but the bottles are lighter and easier to handle. Also they don't re-use the bottles so there are no nasty cleaning chemicals left behind in the water from cleaning and re-filling the bottles. I think the bottles are BPA free so that's another plus. You can set up an account and order on line or ring your order through, they have set delivery days in different areas but have been very reliable for the past 12 months or so that I have been using them.

Another vote for Earlybird. Been ordering from them for 3 years now. Never a problem.

We use www.earlybird.ae They deliver a variety of brands of water, soft drinks and some groceries, they are in our area on a Wednesday and deliver on that day for free, they call me on a Tuesday for my order... If you need urgent delivery, I think they charge 10aed. Not sure if they rent out the dispensers but you could call them, never had a prob in 4 years - they have an on line catalogue on the website
