hello fello fat fighters lol!
Ive just started with online after attending the group at home over the summer, ive had previous success with losing 18lbs on it but know its the support factor that i miss. I thought i was doing it ok before going home but was trying hard (or so i thought!) eating all the fat free yoghurts etc but they aren't syn free!! the onken fat free is 5syns i think for the tub and the elle &vie fat free are 2.5 syns as per syns online, so those of you eating those just watch out!! since July ive lost 8lbs so quite pleased with this and my group at home has a facebook page so get motivation from that. Good luck!!
NannyMcPhee I would so love those resources. We have a little group here in Mirdif, nothing official just a bit of support and we are starting up again in a couple of weeks.
DubaiCat instead of the Mullerlights I use the Elle & Vie 0% or Onken fat free vanilla/strawberry yogurt. You can definitely get fry light here, I have bought it several times or I use the Pam spray. You are right no low fat sausages but you could try Spinney's chicken or beef meatballs. They seemed to work for me. You simply just have to find alternatives to what you were using before. You can do it here, I did it. I am restarting again this week with the overall goal of losing 3 stone. Good luck!

Hi chants39
I'd really like to attend your group when you start back up, would you please post on here when you do or I can give my email details so you can let me know. I definitely believe that if you do it as a group you're more likely to succeed having support, I really miss my old group back home. :)
At the old group I attended there was no charge, we simply used to take a slimming world diet friendly food item and add it to the pile and it would be the prize for the biggest loser! It was a very informal friendly group mind, no one out to make money, just support, as most diet groups are here :)
Thats a great idea!

Captain America - good news is there is no charge at our group. We are a group of friends who do it together. We are only there to support each other and offer suggestions for any difficulties anyone faces. We do put Dhs. 20 in a pot each week and when we reach a set target we go out and do something to celebrate our victory and even then it's not compulsory. You only do it if you want to.
Thanks NannyMcphee, I'll give you a shout in a bit.
The only problem with setting up a group is charging people, then it becomes illegal, even trying to do it legally means you need to be qualified dietitians. Just be careful.
Hi Ladies, I wouldn't mind joining, I have around 2-3 stone to lose and am finding it so difficult!! Not done the slimming world but will definitely give it a go.

Ladies, if any of you fancy having a crack at running your own Slimming World kind of group, I have a whole box of resources left to me by a previous leader. The intention to start a new group was there but my circumstances changed and I just haven't had the time to organise it. If you are interested, let me know on here then I'll post my number briefly. I am at The Villa and you can pick up any time.
7 Kgs in 6 weeks!! ... sounds like magic! iv never heard of Slimming World, but if its that good , count me in girls. Dubai Cat, can you please share more info on this slimming program.
Hi Dubaicat
I will be restarting my diet on Sunday after a couple of months of over indulgence. Slimming world to me is the best diet ever and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things. If you need any recipes or tips then let me know as I have plenty of books and i am an online member so can let you know of syn values ect. It would be good to have some more members for support here and share tips as I really miss the group sessions. Let me know if you're interested. ;)
I have found it so unbelievably easy it's untrue. Hence my sheer despair today in the supermarket! What's Pam Spray and where can I get it?! Thanks!
I wonder if I should email SW about setting up over here...
You have made me think, I should go back on that, it was the only diet that ever really worked IMO.......there is always so much to eat.....especially free food, I always hade loads of syns collected by the end of the week to have a splurge.
As to the missing items, you can use pam spray instead of fry light. Why no Muller lights? strange.
