Hi ladies

I've recently moved into Uptown Mirdif and I'm looking for pilates classes in the area that aren't at Fitness First. Can anyone make any recommendations? Need to try and get back into shape post baby (given she's now 7 months old....!)

Have just finished a Pilates class in Uptown Mirdif Park. Every Thursday morning at 8.15am. cost is 40 dhs, and Carol, the pilates teacher is great! If you would like to come along, just turn up and look for ladies with mats on the basketball courts. We are a pretty friendly bunch.

Thanks for chipping in - bizarrely that makes four classes a month more expensive than a membership with them in the first place?! Go figure - clearly not doing it for our benefit! Does anyone else have any recommendations? I just figure that local means there is more chance I can go regularly. x

They offer pilates classes at the Ladies Fitness First in Uptown. I haven't tried it yet, but I called & they said you don't need a membership. 100 aed a class.
