its not difficult to look at their website and find out the correct information, the only difference between the two is that its easier to send it to the usa than to uae

this might sound silly, but can't you order from M&S or Debenhams and have it delivered to your US S&S account (this way you save on the VAT), and then have it delivered thru back to Dubai!
So, Debenhams to US S&S address to Dubai!
Don't shoot me :) just a thought LOL
then you are paying for shipping twice you pay for m&s to ship it to the us and then aramex to uae!
Hi ship and shop works out ok when there are really good items in the sale...I know I pay Aramex on top so just do a calculation to see if it is really worth it.. Happy shopping:)

gotta be cheaper to order via M&S UK website then, and get them to ship.....with the VAT knocked off. You can cross check your prices against the stores here, so I may just do that in future
Hi, I have a uk shop and ship address,I have ordered from M&S and used my UK credit card and have had my items delivered to my shop and ship address which have then been delivered straight to my address here in Dubai. You pay 41 DHS per KG of weight of parcel.
I hope this makes sense,Aramex usually deliver it to me here...
It has to be a bargain as the delivery charges can really add to the cost;)
its done per half kilo, so its 41 first 0.5 and 32 i think thereafter.

but if you order via the uk you will pay the vat and then the aramex charges, if you order (via the uk) and pay for them to ship it out they will knock the vat off and charge you 15 pounds no matter the size of the parcel, so surely being vat free pays for the postage.

Tell me ladies - do you need a UK credit card / UK address to buy from these stores or can anyone purchase them?
I guess if they sell internationally you don't need them. US websites are a completely different ballgame however!
I had delivery from M&S direct to Dubai.
From their website... if you order in selected UK stores, you can have delivery to UAE. If you order on-line they will deliver to even Mongolia! But not to UAE. How did you manage your order?
yeh you have to get somebody in uk to do it but you cant do it online, you have to go into branch or over phone and pay its 15 pounds whatever the size of parcel and of course they wont be charging the vat.

Probably cause they have stores here and know the prices are sky high....
Chances are that the Debenhams stores here are merely local franchises, and not directly related to the UK ones. That's the way it usually works in the UAE. HSBC is a good example; it's just a local franchise that has no meaningful connection to HSBC anywhere else in the world.
As for Debenhams and S&S, some companies have a policy not to ship to addresses known to be freight forwarding companies - Apple in the USA is a classic example. Or maybe Debenhams will only ship to confirmed residential addresses, not business addresses.
I thought you could S&S with M&S!
Have never tried.....just on their website you can have delivery direct from M&S to many countries, but not the UAE
oh I see - I misread your post!
If I hear back from Debenhams I will update.
Whats more frustrating is, they deliver to 40 other countries around the world but NOT the UAE....:( (or the S&S address in the UK!)
Same with M&S and other High Street stores now, loads of different countries for delivery but not here
Probably cause they have stores here and know the prices are sky high....

Has anyone successfully done this? Each time I've tried it they say there's a problem : your order details failing our internal security verifications.
I'm presuming it's because of the Shop n Ship delivery address as I've successfuly had stuff delivered to my parents recently to bring out here.
So annoying as they've got 15% off at the moment as well as being way cheaper than here!
