we used to have Oasis but DH prefers the taste of Nestle so we switched over ... both delivered by EarlyBird, who also deliver canned drinks too

The National had a great article in 2009, in which they analysed and compared most of the available brands of bottled water in the UAE - with some interesting results! http://www.thenational.ae/lifestyle/well-being/liquid-assessed

I drink Al Ain. Not sure how true this is but was told by Evian staff here in Dubai and in Evian Les Bain that it's the best local water.

We have been buying from groceries and its either Masafi, Al Ain or Arwa. Nestle sometimes, but it tastes blander. jeema is the blandest and we never haev that Masafi is supposed to be the only |Natural Spring water", the others are all "Bottled water" . Arwa is supposedly lighter for children edited by Arch on 13/07/2011

We use Nestle as recommended by my doctor as she said that most of the other had high salt content which may affect my blood pressure...personally I can't tell the difference, but BP is fine.....

For drinking we get Arwa and for the dispenser, which get's used for cooking, pets etc. we use Al Wasmi, purely because they deliver as soon as I call and don't work on a schedule.

Masafi - as said before, have heard they don't refill the bottles and I guess I've always used this brand, even when I used to buy the bottles at the super. They deliver quite quickly and I like the voucher booklets...you can get a bottle (or two) free by buying these.. edited by chizz on 12/07/2011

We use Masafi as they are not refilled. A friend uses Nestle (if I rem correctly) as there is fluoride added which is not in most water here and of course is essential for kids teeth. A dental nurse I know says that not rinsing with water after you brush your teeth leaves sufficient fluoride on them. HTH
