Elevation burger, burger fuel, shake shack, and johnny rockets! Max is not good at all, tastes just like burger king. Fat burger is ok. Not a fan of gourmet burger kitchen, the patties are dry. Fuddruckers is fun to create your own but again, the patties aren't the greatest. Ahh craving some burgers with a chocolate shake now!

I went to Bob's Diner in JBR and really liked it. After finishing my meal, I didn't feel like I had a rock in my stomach like when I eat in Fuddruckers, TGIF or Chillis. So would recommend Bob's.

Fuddruckers!! Love the plain make-your-own kind and stuff with a plateful of salad and sauces from the bar. Their service in the Garhoud branch is the best - kids get a colouring sheet with crayons. Was once at the DIFC branch and condemned the service! Jumeirah branch was good too.

McGettigans DWTC does a fabulous 'Downtown Burger' with the full works. We've also recently tried Hollywood Burger on Emaar Boulevard across from Dubai Mall - they're a good size, and not as messy as Burger Fuel (really puts me off eating there). They have great fries too - would recommend. Gourmet Burger Kitchen at Marina Mall and DIFC also rates highly for a decent burger IMO. Is it lunchtime yet?!

I love Burger Fuel, but it is one massive burger (great fries, too). I feel like I need to hibernate after. For something a bit smaller, I prefer Shake Shack (cheese fries are an added bonus). Although as mentioned, those are a bit fast foody. Maybe one of the steak houses here would have a good gourmet burger? Another option would be to make it yourself. I picked up Bobby Flay's cookbook "Grill It", and the burger recipes inside are unreal. Some of the best burgers I've ever had, at home or out.

Elevation Burger is a good one .. I also like the burgers at the left bank Best burgers Forever in the Marina. Try the Camel Burger. My friend says will go as far as to saying its the best burger he has ever had :P I havnt seen the place to be honest so dont know if its fast foodie as we always order a delivery. <em>edited by mushypeas on 12/06/2013</em>

I used to like JR when it first opened (a very long time ago), but it changed.
