Meet Mahboub - the new automated chat service will quickly answer any inquiries

Good news UAE drivers and motorists, you won't have to call or download any additional apps into your phone to get information related to traffic fines, driver's licenses, etc. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched a WhatsApp service where you can chat with a Corporate Automated Chat System (Mahboub) about any driving and transport questions without human intervension.

The initiative makes use of smart services and channels - artificial intelligence technologies and natural language processing algorithms - which aims to keep pace with the UAE and RTA's strategies for incorporating AI.

Abdul Aziz Al Falahi, CEO of RTA’s Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, said, "The automated chat technology is able to answer customer queries relating to RTA’s services, which in turn reduces the pressure on RTA’s Call Centre."

The new move is part of RTA's plans to enhance communication channels with customers.

How to WhatsApp RTA

Another interesting feature of the WhatsApp service is that the AI is continuously learning. It studies your previous conversations with it, helping the technology improve its understanding of your queries so that it can give you better, more accurate responses. It's also available in both Arabic and English.

Users can start using this RTA service by WhatsApping this number: (+971588009090) or by clicking the following link (https://wa.me/971588009090).
