Good thread! I was looking for the same. I like my maternity bras wired for good support. I am thinking of Mothercare. When I get there I will get myself some. I think it is a good idea. I think Dubai Mall has some very nice stuff for maternity and baby. edited by Pixie2011 on 01/03/2012

I brought mine in Destination Maternity, they have a better selection than Debenhams or M&S and sell both wired and non wired.

I've got mine from Mothercare - I found a really good comfy style (it's the black T-shirt one with polka dots, no underwiring and very comfy) and bought several to see me through the first few weeks after baby (one cup size up - might be returning if we go two cup sizes!) I think it's really pretty for a nursing bra too.

The best ones I have ever had were ones I bought at Walmart in the USA. They are totally no nonsense but so comfortable which is why I continue to wear them even though I'm not breastfeeding anymore! If any of you can ever get to Walmart, buy a few nursing bras there.

Where can I find good bras in Dubai? Most places that I look, stock underwired. I turn around and see a good design...and uhh...its underwired! I've been reading that its not advisable to wear underwired bras while you are breastfeeding, and anyways, I think I would be uncomfortable too. Not particular about getting nursing bras, as most of them that I have found are quite expensive. Not very keen on spending a lot on bras right now! But yeah, if they come affordable...definitely. So pls help....let me know where I can get some good non-underwired bras. Thanks!! :) To be honest, you really do need purpose built nursing bras. It's near impossible and very uncomfortable to nurse in a regular bra. It's important that the breast be fully supported by a bra but completely 'free' for nursing. Under-wires are fine as long as they fit properly...and most of us don't wear properly fitted bras. ;)

I had a bought a pack of two from M&S for AED 275 but then Mothercare went on sale and I realised i could get a pack of two for under AED 150 or something so back the M&S ones went! The Mothercare ones were a bit basic and not as pretty but hey this is for breastfeeding not hot nights with the hubby and the savings on it made it worth it.... The sales are over now as you are a bit late but i was at M&S the other day and thought i saw a pack of two for AED 200..they really are very pretty and nice colours so if you dont mind spending AED 200 you can get those..

I got non underwire nursing bras from a lady who was mentioned in this forum earlier. Her name is Loretta and she has a website: www.blushandbloom.com. Their bras are comfortable and nice quality and they have good, convenient service(they can visit you at home and measure you). You can check their selection of bra styles and prices on their website. Happy shopping :)

Try marks and Spencer. Packs of 2 are usually around the 200 mark and really comfy.

I bought all my nursing bras from Mothercare in sale. All were 50% off, so I managed to save a bundle there. I am happy with the bras, nothing fancy but very comfortable and functional. I was lucky to get my size, maybe you can give it a look when there is a sale.
