Are there any dance instructors/studios in the south part of Dubai that do bharatanatyam? My google skills have only turned up classes north of bur dubai, and I don't like the idea of travelling 40 minutes (or more) in traffic for each class.

I found Buddy's institute, but they are not offering that class at this time because of lack of interest.

Classes are for a 5 year old.

Try Ductac in MOE, my friends daughter goes there to learn Kathak. Also there is a lady in JLT teaching Bharatnatyam. You wouldn't happen to remember who in JLT? JLT is a lot closer to the greens than other options...

Not meaning to hijack, but has anyone heard of Kathak classes for adults. I learnt it as a child for a few years till we moved from India to Muscat. Would love to relearn, but maybe not with 5 years olds. :)

You could try Kairali Kalakendram. They conduct classes for most Indian classical dance forms. They have dance schools at Ghusais,Karama and Discovery gardens .

ok ok, so maybe nothing in the south end then. :P Anyone have any recommendations for lessons in the north? If I'm going to be traveling I would like it to be for lessons with someone reputable. :)
