Non stop reminder from du

DH has been complaining to me that every month, Du sends him an email, then SMS, then a phone call, all reminding him if he has received the bill and the due date. We have never missed a payment so what's with these endless reminders? Sorry, rant over!

Head over to one of their outlets and have them change their "reminder" to one of the three. I registered to only have the SMS, 2 weeks before it is deducted from my cc. The reason they inform you of your bill being online is to check it before they charge your cc. Don't know what would happen if I found a mistake. Find it hard to believe I could do anything to stop them from charging my cc. But hey, at least I only receive 1 SMS/month.

I usually get 2 emails and 1 text message. Doesn't bother me, and at least they have their behinds covered, nobody can say they didn't know lol. If it disturbs you that much, send it straight to the junk folder. I understand completely that they must cover their backs when it comes to billing but emails, and sms, then a phone call, all to remind you of the same thing, even if you have been on time, is too much. If we have missed a payment, then I would totally understand. What's ironic is, when we moved to our apartment in August, we had to wait more than a month for Du to get our internet, cable, and telephone connected. But to remind you of your bill, days ahead. I think they must focus their time in making their service better than making stupid phone calls. Haha! Again, rant over :)

They started this few months back and it is the rudest thing in my eyes. How can they bother and remind and mail and call before the due date ? I am so looking forward to cancel my services with them soon. I agree..l they can harass you if you've missed the payment but not otherwise! The last time they called me, I told them off so they havent called since :)

I face the same thing with them, so have finally saved their reminding landline number under " stupid Du" Now i feel better after i miss their call :)))

They don't call us but start sending email reminders 2 weeks prior to the due date, we just ignore them and pay the bill couplde of days before its due date.

We've had the same problem recently and been Du customers since they were Sahem so a long time! When the last phone call happened I nicely said we receive all the emails and SMSs so don't need a phone call as well the lady said she'd put a note on the system. Hopefully that worked!
