Ladies, please tell me. Am I the only one who hates thongs? I feel like I'm the weirdo who loves wearing underwear that isn't up my you know what all day long. My husband loves thongs but I detest them - really, how comfortable can they possible be?

After a decade of wearing bikini thongs, i put on some big pants (was pregnant). Oh. My. Word. The comfort! I felt like my bum was getting a cuddle. I haven't gone back to the G-String, though DH does wistfully ask occasionally! edited by mover and a sheikha on 06/03/2011 Love it! Hubby occasionaly gets all wistful about wispy bits of lace too (he calls it giftwrapping) but quite frankly my bum and I are happy just the way we are thank you. While I was in NZ last year I came across the BEST EVER knickers...they're called thunderpants and garranteed to never go up your bum. Ever. I heart them sooo much. All NZ made, designs, organic and the most comfy bum cuddle ever. Getting my mum to bring me back a suitcase of them when she comes this year.

My nine son was checking out an application his dad downloaded for him as a joke called "thongs" and he told me when he opened it, there were no pictures of feet at all, just ladies with wedgies.

ROFL at C-String. They're not new though, in the late 80's they were called [b'>Clump[/b'> Clips. Obviously before trimming, waxing and brazillians became the norm :D

Thongs are ok, but not for all occasions. I love those invisible pants you get from certain shops, genius and dead comfy. What occasion are they not suitable for? Obviously times where you're wearing something where they can be seen - VPL - nothing attractive about that.

My bestie in the US, swears by something called "panteez" for invisibility and comfort. Never seen them here.

Thongs are not suitable for when you're doing Scottish country dancing in a dress and fall over. ETA: Or so I'm told. <em>edited by DubaiCat on 06/03/2011</em>

I'm not admitting to putting on the infamous Dubai stone yet, even when I got weighed at Ski Dubai and heard it with my own ears.......... If you wants real comfort with knickers, 2 sizes up is fab, you don't know they are there! That's because 2 sizes up would mean they'd be around your ankles!! LOL

Jeans you can squeeze into and the thick material holds it all in, but pants you need to fit properly or your ar$e will look like a bag of ferrets.

I used to wear thongs all the time in my 20's, now I prefer the shorts for comfort/daytime. I also have m& s granny style pants.... suppose it depends what mood i'm in! Agree always go a size up with any type of lower underwear for added comfort, and they won't dig in. So are you all fooling yourselves about the size of your underwear? "Well I am a 12 but I wear 14 "for comfort" ..." NO you are a 14 in that case :-P

I love them. Only wear big undies if I'm wearing a skirt/dress above the knee.
