I second Maui Jim's You can't put a price on your sight..!! they have some great frames... maybe not the fanciest, and no rhinestones, but some nice styles.

Get the ones that suit your face. I dont see how anyone can help you with this as we dont know what you look like.

Maui Jim all the way! They use polarised + 2 lenses and they also do prescription versions of their lenses. I love mine…really feel like my eyes are well protected which is the most important thing…and they are stylish :-)

why do you have to ask someone else which brand " to go for" ? Let's face it, it's all about labels and bigging it up for most people with sunglasses ! And isn't it also personal choice? Could give a hoot about labelled glasses personally. I love my Oakley's because they suit the sports freak in me.

I've always been a Chanel girl, but recently bought Bvlgari for no other reason then the fact that I loved the frames and I have to say, they are fab. The lenses are really good.

If they are of genuine reputable brands, their lenses should have UV protection so in that they are all created equal. As PN pointed out, a lot of them now are licensed or manufactured under one roof by Luxottica. Ray Ban is popular due to the fact that most of their lenses are polarized. The difference in prices are usually due to the specific features, designs, and the brand name itself, so I guess it boils down to personal taste and which pair fits your face best. Good luck finding the pair you like :)

kitty bitty, in my line of work i come across those sunglasses brands fairly often, and would say your best bet is Bvlgari or Givenchy. Bvlgari, Versace and Tiffany are developed by the same factory in Italy (they also handle Ray Ban and many other well known brands). Since they are all made under the same roof, quality is usually fairly similar, but i have to mention i've heard more complaints about Versace and Tiffany. Bvlgari seem to be the most popular and i havent heard of any complaints from them. I've merchandised Gyvenchy before as well, and i haven't heard of any negative feedback on those either. Hope this helps

I'm also a RayBan baby and not really a fan of any of the brands you mentioned. But I think they're all of the same quality.

Sorry none of the below for me, I recommend Ray Bans all the way - we have about 8 pairs in our house!
