Dr. Ishtayeh is a Consultant of Family Medicine with extensive clinical experience
Dr. Ishtayeh obtained his Master of Medicine qualification (MMed) from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He joined Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in 2008 as part of the Emergency unit. Prior to joining the Mediclinic family he worked as General Practitioner in the Accidents and Emergency department at International Modern Hospital in Dubai.
He has also worked as General Physician in the Emergency department, as well as the Early Detection and Prevention Clinic, at King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Ishtayeh is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
