Thank you all for your valuable comments and the time you spent typing them.
We've called Sani AC Services and told our LL about the problem. Turns out that the AC infrastructure was already unhealthy and my opening the window to get some fresh air during humid weather, made it worse.
Bought a dehumidifier, turned off the AC on the problematic room, now everything is fine! So no leakage, just typical humid problem.
Waiting for Sani guys to come next week and clean the AC then we'll be back to happiness:)
Btw I just got the wall dry then, I turned on he AC while I left my balcony door open. I was trying to create some air circulation. Then the whole wall started to cry down with lots if water again.. Might sound stupid but I think I'm doing smtg wrong in here..
Will def. look for a dehmidifier but I was thinking that AC itself was drying the air in the apt?
Split units have a de-humidify setting on them but if you open the door you will overwhelm the system and it will produce more moisture. I live in a villa with split units if I leave the kitchen door open I noticed that the pipe which drains away the condensed water from the cooling fins, pours water. I collect the water from the a\c units to water the plants so it is clear what is going on. When you live in an apartment you don't see so much the effects of humid air on your air conditioners.
If it is a central a/c I don't think it is as efficient in reducing humidity, but leaving the balcony door open is a definite mistake, because now that a/c has to dehumidify the humid air from outside, which will condense around the a/c outlet.
Also keeping your temperature setting very low, especially in humid weather, can cause the unit to produce frost. I've lived in Dubai for 30 yrs so always tried to find a way to make them more efficient.
Maintenance should sort it out for you. Best of luck!
It is guaranteed not to be mould but a leak. There will be a leak in a bathroom (it doesn't have to be close by). the water is leaking from a cracked pipe in the bathroom, behind the tiles, travelling along the floor, and up the walls. that's why it starts from the bottom up.
You need to isolate the leak, this will involve breaking a few bathroom tiles.
once isolated, you will have to strip the paint from the wall and let it dry out, for about a month. then you can repaint. Quite a common problem, and it is also common to be told by umpteen people that it is mould/humidity/ac problem/etc for months before someone tells you what it really is. :)

Always keep AC off if you plan to leave the balcony or windows open for some time. Your AC might stop working and of course not to mention the humidity on your wall.
Air conditioners do dry out air but some are not so good at doing that. Which explains some areas/building have humidity issues..some don't.
Do get the maintenance people involved. See if they can sort it out but buy humidity monitor and keep a check on indoor humidity. We lived in an apartment with humidity problems and the maintenance company tried everything possible but nothing solved the issue.
If you have mold issue when AC is still on, imagine what would it be like when you would turn it off during winters. You should start monitoring , try to get it sorted through maintenance. If nothing works ..de humidifier is your best bet during winters but it's a noisy machine.
xN you must talk to your landlord/maintenance people and insist that the problem be rectified ASAP as it's a health hazard for you and others in your building who will also be breathing the mould spores - mould is so detrimental to our health. Hope to manage to have the problem taken care of.

We had a similar problem in a tower in the Marina, but it turned out to be a burst pipe from several floors above us. We never got it fully sorted without using a dehumidifier.
But there is no pipeway from where we are having the water from the wall. :(

Mold is a problem we face also , starts when humidity kicks in and gets worse when we turn off air conditioners in winter. Only solution is to monitor it with a humidity monitor and keep it at 65-70% with a dehumidifier.
We live in Marina Residences and facing a mold problem..
It started in one of those highest humid days, like some humid on the wall-particularly only one wall- felt like the wall was crying for 1-2 days, now we have mold left from that.
Has anyone experienced a similar thing nowadays?
