I know this is quite an old post but just want to share with other moms a super diaper I've used in Japan that is now available in Dubai. The brand name is Merries and it's super absorbent, never leaks, very comfy fit and "breathable" (air through technology). It's a bit pricey than the usual brands but it's worth it and give you and your bub a good night's sleep! Available at Union Coop Safa/Jumeirah, Al Barsha and Al Wasl.

I will try all the suggestions. I wanted to buy cloth diapers but I have so many issues going on in my life that I dont need more things to think about. Thanks When he gets all wet, are the nappies really full? If they are full to bursting, then maybe go up a size. If they are not completely full (REALLY swollen) then I think they are too big and you need to go down a size or adjust how you're fitting them. Good luck!

Def go up a size ..I've used pampers on all three kids and they have never leeked ...my 6 month is on 4+ his been on that size for ages and all good soon I'll put him on 5 even though his under the weight of the nappy size....maybe try changing the nappy before you go to bed also ..my 2 yr has to drink gallons of water during the night so I put her to bed at 7 change her about 11 pm and that should keep her dry to 7 am....

Agree with Green-ish - different brands seem to work for different babies. We have used Pampers Premium for DS (now 2) these have never leaked with him. We have started DD (3 weeks) on the same, however I will see how they go, I will happily change brands for her if these ones don't do the job. As mentioned below, I have heard the double nappy works. But also I would ensure that the size you have is correct - I am not sure what the weight range is for the size 3's, but I always ensure that DS wears a nappy, where his weight is at the very beginning of the range (I don't let him get over the 'halfway' mark - so if the weight range for a nappy was 10 - 20 kgs, I would move him up to the next size once he got to 15kgs). Fingers crossed you have some dry nights soon!

Had exact same problem with DS and was using Bambi at the time. Now am using Pampers the size that goes up to 20kg (he was 9kg when I changed) and NO LEAKS since then. Try going up one size and see if it helps.

You could try cloth nappies. Some people have a lot more success with them overnight. Another option is to use two nappies...one that is the correct size for your baby's build, then the next larger size over the top of that. In theory, the larger one will catch any leaks from the smaller one without being too tight and uncomfortable. It might also be that you just need to try another size. Not all babies 'fit' according to the weight guides on the pack. More important is your baby's build. If there is any gaping around the legs or waist, the nappies will always leak.

I have tried both pumpers and huggies and still leaking. He is around 8 Kgs, and I am using number 3.

That should not happen with a good brand and if the fit is right. What brand are you using?
