I would have thought organic store would be obvious place to try and possibly waitroses? I know in the UK it is easy to find unwaxed lemons but it seems a lot harder here.

Does anyone know where to get lemons that haven't been sprayed/treated with anything, so I can use the peel as well? Back home it is usually specifically stated on the package or sign if the peel of lemons or oranges is fit for consumption, not sprayed with chemicals. And if you don't know of any lemons available, what do you use if a recipe calls for lemon peel?
