i know 3 people who have bought wedding dresses from ebay and they were very pleased, u measure yourself and they are made to fit your measurements and your own style from many 1,000's of designs.went to all 3 weddings and they were lovely, you wouldnt know they were from ebay. they were all under 1,000 dirhams.when one of the brides took hers for some alterations as she had lost weight, they were suprised it was mail order from ebay/china.my friends niece was looking at veils and was looking at them in sale in uk,300 pounds for the one she wanted, i recommended she look on ebay and she found exact same veil for around 50 dirhams/8.99 british pounds.they can take from 3 weeks to 2-3 months to be delivered. all were very easy to order and communicate with. i can recommend a lady here if u want one made - anne rashid - montexa - 043494037,its around the backside of dreamgirl in satwa. i think she also does ready made dresses at the bridal room jumeirah plaza.043446076 have a wonder time planning and good luck. .

Good luck! I'm getting married in Feb and thought I'd started my search early, however every shop I go into tell me I've left it until the last minute and I'll be lucky to get anything other than off the rack sale stock! I was in the UK last week looking and they were even more shocked how late I had left it! Have found 1 dress I like in Bridal Room Jumeirah Plaza which I can take off the shelf for a 10% discount or order a new one and hope it is here in Jan to give time for alterations :s I'm hoping a contact in the UK can get me the same dress in time as it's much cheaper over there and get someone to bring it over in time :s Good luck with your search!

I got my dress from Pronovias in London, there is one in Dubai Mall and if they are anywhere near as helpful as the UK you'll be thrilled. The choice of dresses was fab too!!
