Lol I am not as bad as some. I don't colour co-ordinate my wardrobe or have my dvds in alphabetical order but I do have the cleaning disorder. Can't stand to see anything untidy in the house and always cleaning something. I do have to have all my food tins and things in kitchen cupboards with labels facing front and have tins of coke in fridge with the coca-cola facing front oh and all mugs in cupboards angle to the right side. No I don't have OCD :\:

Chuck away anything YOU don't like :) he he thats so funny, how do you declutter someone elses stuff - i declutter and reorganise if i am asked for help and with their help. we have 3 bin bags, rubbish, charity and repairs or alterations. if its not been worn in a year its out as well in the charity bag. i am ruthless as the point of it is not to put everything back in but to give you space for more shopping :)

Most people have some odd behaviour they repeat for a supersitious or otherwise reason. Had this conversation with girlfriends once, everyone of us had something! One admitted she needed to fold her toilet paper 7 times before wiping, another said the last thing she needed to look at in her bedroom before leaving it had to be a certain foto, I have to align cutlery in my dishwasher when I'm loading it just so (if someone puts a fork in the 'spoons' section I have to put it back in the correct place before turning it on). Another wouldn't hang laundry on a particular rung of her clothes horse for fear of bringing bad luck etc. Was really funny to discuss out loud as I never really gave it much thought before. Jennifer Aniston got loads of stick once by the media for admitting she liked her toilet rolls facing out when hanging up. Everyone has something if you think about it long enough. I scored high too, yikes!

Oh my god! Mine was 25! OCD got to love it, I didn’t like the screening all that much I got 32, my son, my daughter and my hubby have OCD, my eldest son is the only one not exhibiting signs of OCD, thankfully I noticed the signs very early on in my children and managed to get them the help they needed. http://www.cmha.ca/bins/search.asp?lang=1

You are certainly not suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder if you are laughing about it..People with this disease suffer greatly which makes them unable to function in their daily lives!! so do not worry you do not have OCD best medecine is laughter, dont be silly. Ive had OCD since childhood and I laugh about it all the time, it does not always make people unable to function, it depends on what they obsess about. My score to the test was 18, would have been MUCH higher a few years ago.

Ladies take this test http://psychcentral.com/ocdquiz.htm share your scores if you dare <em>edited by Irooni on 05/07/2011</em>

You are all welcome to come and organise me any time you like. I wish I had more of these tendencies but it's either in you or it's not right? It's a constant tidiness battle for me :(

i think my husband wishes i was OCD about housework but my only leaning is colour co-ordinating wardrobes.. and liking to match the hangers with the garments lol we also have the endless toilet roll argument - i put the end at the back and my husband constantly changes it to the front just to annoy me lol - well actually, he says that's the [i'>correct[/i'> way !! My kinda husband ;) How could you put the end at the back? :\:

Are you always thinking of housework, cleaning and organising? Do you have a hard time sitting and doing nothing? Do you organise your wardrobe through 10 different section, by colour, length, type, sleeve....etc... Do you hate it when your children play with toys around? [b'>Do clean the cooker 10 times while you are still cooking?[/b'> Oh lord my list is endless, but let's chat on here if you are like me. I just want to know I am not alone :((( haha - you nailed it. i also clean and wipe down the kitchen before i eat the hot meal i just prepared! once in highschool some friends were over. i had left my room and come to find a few lotions etc in the same location, but facing a different direction. i noticed and have never lived it down. you are DEFINITELY not alone.

I wish I had a bit of the OCD gene. I am such a messy person! Honestly if I'm by myself for a few days it often looks like a bomb has hit the place! If any of you OCD'ers would like to give me some tips on how to stay on top of the housework please let me know!

Always liked to organize my clothes as well as dh at least per color and type (tops with tops, dresses and skirts together)...just because it's not more worknto put them back like this and much faster to find what I look for....now I start thinking I'm a crazy organizer too....

I know how you all feel - all of my friends call me Monica instead of my real name - it used to be behind my back but now it is brazen and to my face. I am currently 8 months pregnant and the Monica gene has gone into overdrive. I have colour-coordinated both mine and DH clothes, reorganised the bookshelves and kitchen cupboards and even scrubbed the skirting boarsd - my maid thinks I have gone mad! Good to know I am not alone though I would prefer to be Rachel Greene!

I'm right there with you :( I have to line DVDs up in alphabetical order and books on the shelf are in height order- annoys me when he children don't put them back properly! Photo frames have to face a certain way and I know when the cleaners have moved them!!
