Childrens City in Creek Park is amazing and I dont understand why its not supported more. Its has 3 storeys of fun educational stuff to do for kids from 2 - 12 and really cheap, including a library and planetarium show. I went for the first time last week, spent hours there, and am going to go a lot more from now. The restaurant is also open during Ramadan for childrens meals!

We went to Dubai Mall a last weekend and Shakespeare's didn't seem open to me - the door actually in Souk Al Bahar was definitely locked and we had a look outside and couldn't see a way in. I might have just missed another door though! you have to go outside and to the right and there's a door open there, if you rattle any of the doors one of the waiters will come and get you anyway!

Went to Mirdif City Centre last week and Paul's was open for take-away. It did not appear any of the places in the food court were even serving lunch. No restaurants were open. Motor City has London Fish & Chips open for take away as well. They also confirmed to me last Thursday that they are delivering during the day. I saw Subway open (take away) and I've seen their delivery bike a couple of times.

Went to Kidzania yesterday - McDonalds open for take away and a curtained off area to eat next to Pizza Express - adults and children eating Pizza Express in Kidzania also opened but looked like they were only serving drinks and cakes

Dubai Mall Food Court is only open for takeaways, no partitioned off area this year (why would anything be consistent in this country? haha!). Address Hotel Dubai Mall is attached to it, it has Ember restaurant open, 95AED for a dish, dishes are very tasty but tiny small.

Thanks everyone for keeping this thread updated. It boggles my mind why the mods wouldn't sticky this. :\: Cause probably they fear it is against the values of the country!! Mind you XPress magazin had a half page listing on 1st day of Ramadan about restaurants open all day!! So I guess mods are overly cautious (again).
