When you buy a bugaboo you register it for warranty online, using the unique chasis number, so in theory it should not matter where in the world you buy it from, it should be covered. If there are any problems with it whilst in the warranty period, you can contact bugaboo customer services online, and they will, for example, arrange for a replacement part to be sent to your home address, or collected from your local retailer. I found their customer service exceptional when I had a problem (just what you expect when you pay premium prices!) That is correct! We bought ours in the Netherlands (due to obvious price differences), when the in-laws arrived with it, some of the padding on the handle was damaged and JK replaced it! The warranty is with Bugaboo not the store, they are obliged to honuor it as the sole distributor! Just speak to the owners at JK if the staff are "unsure"!

I do agree with you scribs on that. And we have asked 2 people at justkidding - one said it wouldnt cover and the other said it did. one thing i have noticed about JK (apart from being a total rip off) is sadly alot of their staff are not very well trained in the products they sell

Just Kidding store is the official distributor in the middle east, so they handle the warranty issue. However, if you buy the Bugaboo from abroad, then you will not get the warranty with them. you will have to do that where you bought the bugaboo from. edited by Proudmama012 on 10/06/2012 But the warranty is with Bugaboo for 2 years, not the shop you purchased it from. I know this is Dubai. But it would be interesting to see what Bugaboo would have to say if they knew one of their official distributors was not playing ball. The cost of the original product is irrelevant, if it is under warranty, Bugaboo will pick up the cost of the repair not Just Kidding, except maybe staff time handling the process. Lucky this isn't the case for other distributor's, like when I took my Nikon camera, which I bought in the UK, for repair in Deira, or when I had to get a Miele guy to come out and service my washing machine, which I also bought in the UK! edited by Scribs on 10/06/2012 yeah you are right, but maybe they have a deal with them. I do not know..I bought mine from abroad a few years ago, and they were willing to help me when i needed something fixed, but then i was told later that they would not provide warranty if the buggabo was bought from abroad!

I was told by Just Kidding staff themselves that they won't cover warranty if your bugaboo is bought from abroad. They did offer warranty before, but not anymore as the difference in price between bugaboo in holland and here in dubai is quite big!

That's very strange! I will however be buying it and bringing it back myself rather than an online shop. Agree, would be nervous to shop online for something so expensive

hi there - am thinking of getting my bugaboo in london but was wondering whether this would cause me any problems should there be any issues here with the pram - warantee wise - what would i do? Anyone had any experience with this? Was in Just Kidding this weekend and they were trying to convince me the upside of ordering from them (surprise surprise) because of the warantee
