Ladies,

I've been recommended Plug-ins at Festival city to equip a new villa with white goods/TV etc. However, when I went at the weekend it seemed to be in midst of a refit.

Could anyone recommend a good alternative? Any horror stories of places to avoid?

I'm looking for stuff which will be delivered in pretty short order ideally.

Moss

My 'horror' story here: http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=187802 I would say that it is probably a rare occasion, however, thought I'd warn you to look out for this sort of thing. Other than that, we got our white goods from a variety of places, EMAX, Geant, and second hand.

Union Co-op on Al Wasl is apparently quite good, or Lulu on Al Barsha. You can order on line from some supermarkets. You will also find used appliances on Dubizzle but will generally have to arrange your own transport.
