as with anything you can pay different levels of price, depending on whether you want a Toyota or a Rolls Royce! I paid about 8, 000 GBP to get veneers and gum lasering 7 years ago in the UK. Best thing I ever did. Transformed my life. My best piece of advice: get a personal recommendation an when you meet with the dentist, ask for lots and lots of before/after photos.

You can now have a gummy smile corrected by means of only a few botox injections. No need for any lazer or cutting or veneers. Dont know if this procedure is available in Dubai though....

Thanks. :) Dentist said he can take a few milimeters of mine with a lazer as my gummy smile isnt really that bad but Im conscious about it. This was in 2006 and the price quoted then was dhs30 000 with 8 veneers included on top,so I guess the price has risen a bit in the meantime. Dont know if my DH will allow me to spend that amount of money on my teeth....He said my teeth and smile are perfectly fine. Lol! <em>edited by Asti on 09/07/2012</em>

I had 8 veneers fitted at the front (top), the gum line on one side was lazered to raise it and the bottom teeth bleached to whiten them. The results are amazing and all the treatments were painless (even the injections didn't hurt because the dentist used numbing gel first). The cost was about 36,000 Aed and I used Dr Eva at Dr Michaels in Um Suqiem...I can't recommend her highly enough. Bear in mind that in feb of this year when I had to go to the dentist because a tooth broke, I hadn't been to a dentist in 20 years because I was so dental phobic.

Sorry can't help with dentist here, but when I checked into this in the US I was quoted $10,000 about 15 years ago. Furthermore, the surgeon my dentist referred me to wouldn't do it after all; he thought I was a little neurotic in the first place for wanting it. It really depends on the individual, but I was told that they could only give me a couple of millimeters and it would likely cause pain and sensitivity. Good luck with your search.
