Lemsip Max does taste awful but works well - especially at night. I usually add some fresh lemon juice, honey and also crushed up adrak (ginger) to add to its potency - also makes it taste better.

There is an other one called Neocitran, the european version, basically the same ingredients, same powder type sachets. I have not seen it here, but I have not searched. I am still using the box I got from Germany. It tastes quite pleasant, like a hot lemonade.

That's exactly the one I got! It tastes really awful but I solved that with a spoon full of good old Dutch appelstroop :) Next time no more Lemsip Max that's for sure!

Lemsip Max is horrible with a foul aftertaste, normal Lemsip tastes ok though I find.

Must Lemsip taste so awful??!! Can't they produce more pleasantly tasting anti-flu meds? Does it really have to taste that terrible? Yuk.
