We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Primary Music Teacher to join our vibrant IB school community in Dubai. The successful candidate will teach Years 2–6, delivering engaging and inspiring music lessons that nurture creativity, confidence, and a love for music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate Music lessons for students in Years 2–6, aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
  • Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves musically.
  • Organise and support school performances, assemblies, and musical events.
  • Use a range of instruments, digital tools, and teaching strategies to develop students’ musical knowledge and skills.
  • Assess and report on student progress, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular links and the wider creative arts programme.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education, and a recognised teaching qualification.
  • Recent experience teaching Music in a Primary School setting (Years 2–6).
  • Experience working in an IB PYP environment is preferred, but not essential.
  • Passionate about music education and committed to fostering a lifelong love of music in students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be currently residing in the UAE or willing to relocate on a local hire contract (no accommodation).
