Those who have it, do you find it good value? Can you give an idea of typical voucher values? Thanks much!

How much profit do these outlets actually make .... to be able to offer a "Buy 1, Free 1"? (Or the clothing outlets that offer 50%, 60%, 75% sales?) The restaurants make money on the drinks/starters/deserts and they hope you will come back once you have used all your vouchers. Shops make money on the items sold at full price, once they get to less than 50% they are simply trying to shift stock in preparation for the new stock coming in. Some money for an item is better than nothing. At least this is how my friend worked when she had a dress & accessories shop.

If I buy online, do they deliver it? Is there a charge for delivery? If you buy on line you get a 10% discount and free delivery! We always bought the Family one and the fine dining one too - excellent!

We found the same as Feefmick with the childrens meals. This year I bought the kids entertainer as I wanted a specific voucher that instantly saved me AED 500 and a lot of the voucher in there are for kids meals. We only have one child but we often go out with friends who have a child that is the same age so it has worked out for us to have this book as well. We also have the Family Entertainer & Fine Dining. edited by MirdifIngrid on 24/05/2012

Even on a 2 week look see visit we found the Family Entertainer more than paid for itself. If 4 people go to Aquaventure at Atlantis it breaks even. There are also vouchers for the food outlet at Aquaventure so you save even more money. My kids used it at Ski Dubai, Wild Wadi and iceskating. Just be careful though as some places have restrictions on where/when you can use ie we had Chillis vouchers and visited Chillis at M of E only to find on going to pay the bill that they were not valid at M of E. We also found elsewhere that they they refused to count a kid's meal as a main meal so wouldn't give 2 for 1 on the kid's meal. I would just advise reading the back of the vouchers carefully but definetly worth buying.

I think if you go on their website, you can check out what vouchers are available in each book.

When we had some friends over we saved approx 3000 aed, they used vouchers for Safari, Atlantis, Waterpark, varying places for dinners. We saved just over 700 at the weekend, on dinner at Seafire, as others say you only need to use the book at one or two restaurants and you have paid for the book.

Thanks ladies. An example of a typical voucher value please, will appreciate. There is no such thing really as a typical voucher value - if you use Costa coffee you buy one get one free so if you buy a coffee and a danish pastry are you looking at around 40 dhs - so you'll get the same free - so worth 40 dhs Wild Wadi - entrance - approx 215 - buy one get one free so saved 215 Baskin robbins ice cream - spend say 35 dhs and you get another 35 dhs ice cream free.... There are so many outlets that it soon mounts up. We used to buy the family one and the fine dining one and they were very well used!

It's all basically buy one get one free. We have the fine dining and the family book (the family has some cheaper dining options). If you go to Borders book store they normally have sample copies on the shelf with all the listings and sample vouchers at the back, you can flick through it and see if it's worthwhile.

definately, money back after a wild wadi or atlantis. Frankies usually in there but dont bother with as have the 25% off card if any wants to swap, same with all the media rotanas as have that card too Mena a salam friday brucnh is but one get one free (is labelled as al muna in entertainer) but you can sit where you like and you have to pay difference for the alcoholic package but still already paid well over in 2 vouchers Plus all your mall eats, all u can eat an drink nights etc

We like the buffet at Blue Orange at the Westin. We only need to go there twice to redeem the cost of our Entertainer Fine Dining book, and as we enjoy going to many of the other restaurants in the same book, we find the initial outlay is rapidly repaid.

I've been considering getting one but what always makes me hesitate is that most of the vouchers are buy 1 get one free which means that you always need to take someone along with you or go to the same place twice! I'd like to hear the feedback though!
