total rubbish! When I was a trolly dolly though, they did tell us to avoid garlic as it made you a bit gaseous :) didn't stop me having a curry the night before a flight! It was essential to eat those gas inducing foods prior to certain flights to enhance your crop dusting capabilities!!! Evil!!!

Hubby is pilot with Etihad, he said the garlic thing specifically is rubbish but they are advised to know what foods upset their stomach, cause wind, etc. :) LOL

someone told me recently that pilots were banned from eating garlic 48hrs before they fly ... I thought that this was BS.... Can any EK wife confirm / deny this? TIA
