Rent was due beginning of Jan and no contact from landlord?

Cant get hold of landlord to renew the rent and have had no rent notification what do i do?

Its now overdue and i dont know who to make cheque payable to or where to pay it?

The same thing is happening to us.When the next years rent was due we contacted the RC who told us to wait a few weeks.Still no contact so emailed RC and are awaiting a response.We've been told by someone who knows about these things,don't want to be too specific, that in about three percent of cases the LL is money laundering and abandons the property meaning you get to stay in it rent free!! I don't think we're going to be that lucky but as long as the rent money is reserved for if he turns up and the RC know whats going on it's fingers crossed :) A Years rent as savings would be amazing but would never happen to me. Ha ha, Thanks for the info will wait a while longer see what happens. I don't seriously think it will hppen to me either but it's bit like doing the lottery,it presumably happens to someone so you never know. Ha ha yeah im praying to be that miracle :-)

I would still notify the RC as soon as possible, then the LL can't come back at you to say you haven't paid your rent.

Go to the RC with your cheques for the same amount as previous year, and they should be able to help you. Thumbs up..
