@louisedvs thanks ill check that site out! @skykitty i agree, I was crew for nearly 6 yrs and although the sets were unrealistic (airbus cockpit on a boeing and 'Bahrain' airport actually being PMI), the plotlines were close to crew life and did reflect how quick you bond with someone on a nightstop/4 sector day etc. And remember the episode with the sandwich? Well, apparently that actually happened at my airline.... Great one for all the UK programs too ( Letter of the alphabet 21 then 11,14,15,22,1) free to signup :-) Enjoy

Funny you mention Mile High, I just brought my old box set home from vacation with me.... people poohed poohed it as unrealistic but some of the stories were quite realistic... and the way they show people who really don't know each other bonding together and helping each other out is very true of the crew way of life... someone who doesn't even know you will just help you out because you are both crew... even if for different companies! I remember once back in Oz I had some trouble with a guy in a nightclub, I'd been chatting with a guy earlier who was crew for a rival airline and when he saw me having a problem with a 'stalker' he came over to help me.... Anyway, I stupidly deleted the most recent episode and unlike other shows they only seem to repeat it once the following morning!!!

Oh no, have I been missing Pan Am? I am desperate to watch it! How many episodes have been on so far? Shame flying isn't as glamorous nowadays.. By the way, anyone here a fan of Mile High? (British comedy drama about a budget airline, wooden acting but fun nonetheless!)

Goran was just guesting last night but it's possible he might return for a couple of episodes... once you see last night's ep you'll see what I mean... I know that people are split on whether it's good or not but to be honest it's kind of a relief to have some tv thats a bit old school and not about ghosts, witches, dumb reality stars etc etc etc

Just watched episode 1 :) Had to go back to the beginning to catch up with what Kate had been tasked to do and why. All clear now. I'm also curious to know how the purser got her hair cut on the way to her flight.

I've got the most recent epis on the hard drive and haven't been bothered to watch since the second one. I might give it another go. It's on OSN 1st on Sundays, Sanddy Dogg: http://www.osn.com/onlineguide/schedules/advancesearch_en_gb.aspx

Is it on TV here or does it have to be viewed online?

I've been watching it for a few weeks now..online! It gets more interesting as it' more about the cold war. Worth a watch and giggle especially when they do a weigh in before being allowed to fly, maybe some of our cabin crew should be made to do that now!

From the episodes I've seen, the storylines have gotten better and if aynthing it's worth watching for the gorgeous set dressing, clothes and all those period details.

For anyone who doesn't know, I should prob explain that Goran is a really hot Croatian actor who played Luka in E.R.
