300dhs for 6x/week....He is rubbish though as he only waters plants, does'nt pull out weeds, or cut plants back, he even killed all my cactus by watering them EVERYDAY! We fired him after a while as I was having to do all the things he didn't do....then after a month of having to water the garden myself I gave in and hired him again.....he still does a s**t job, but Im happy I dont have to do it anymore.

We have a brilliant gardener, he comes to us 6 days a week, have been using the same guy for 11 years now and he is great, and legal as he works for and is sponsored by one of the nurseries. When we first moved to Dubai he planted our grass and put in our irrigation system too. We pay 300 per month, he comes 6 days a week. We just moved here and have only had him a few weeks... not very impressed though so far but maybe my expectations are too high.

We're in Al Muntazah complex in Jebel Ali and desperately looking for a Garden service that is recommended. We have gone down the route of having someone water dailiy, but thats ALL he does unless I ask him to, and now everything is dying. Any recommendations will be most appreciated.

hi quicksilver, we live iin JI, I have a dreadful gardener, is your's fulltime? Hiya, he comes sun, tues & thurs and is there for about 30-45 mins. The boss man is Aziz 050 873 4643, obviously you can have him for more days but more money - they also do the pools which I am going to try from March. Good luck!

I live in JI and my gardener was recommended on here some time ago when I asked and I have to say, he is so good. I pay 300pm x 3 visits per week and for the first few months he started cutting all the trees to a manageable level and keeps them trimmed so neatly, he rakes, and the grass is always cut, he spends time getting weeds out of the grass etc etc. when I have asked him to do a little more, I give him a little money but he always gets a tip every month. I know his first name as I have spent time talking to him in the past and he always respects me and our privacy.
