Thank u hilsbils....during the initial stages of pregnancy itself i was told that triplets comes preterm and the max i would reach is 36 weeks.but i delivered at 29 weeks and my babies were in NICU around 40 days. I do get 3-4hrs sleep a day which seems to be fine for me nowadays, though i had slept more than 10hrs daily all my life.I do get help from my family and a maid, but in a couple of months i will be alone and right now am training myself to be a supermom.....my task since they came home has been to feed them at regular intervals so that they gain weight (their birth weight was low being preemies)...i will have to continue that till they are 6 months old before i leave them to demand feeding.

Congrats nicegirl!! 4 month old triplets ..... wow. I am curious to know how you cope and if you get any sleep at all? The IVF path has made me consider that this is a real possibility. Did you carry to full term? Thanks for any answers

Hi Tia, I just bought from the chemist in capsule form, Im sorry I dont know the specific reason I was told not to use them, I think though it acts like eostrogen so was best to be avoided with all the ivf drugs. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/natural/991.html MB xxx

My best friend had severe PCO, she got pregnant both times with Clomid and then a surgical procedure where they used a needle to unblock the tubes to release eggs and then she was told to go home and have fun with DH ?. Worked for her both times but this was in the UK. <em>edited by starsouthern on 11/06/2012</em>

Hi there...sorry about your predicament. My symptoms (PCS, insulin, normal weight and periods) were the same as yours. However I conceived on clomid 150mcg/glucophage on 2nd try for both the babies. I read a book called Taking charge of your fertlity. Great tips like putting yr legs up against a wall after s** to use gravity :) (our mucus lining is thicker than normal so needs help with gravity). There IS hope. Best of luck. Hi ladies. Hi Gud83, dr fakih told me to take the larginine and the coq10 and the pregnacare was standard because it's for women trying to conceive and who have as is a general multivitamin and has folic acid in, the selenium and royal jelly were suggested to me by dr Ou, the lady that does acupuncture, I checked then with the nurse about them at de Fakihs and she said it was fine to continue and I stopped just before egg collection, except for pregnacare that I am still taking now. There are lots of things on the Internet to take, I also went as bought flaxseed oil but dr told me not too take this, so best what you are considering to take to check with the dr. I checked and were told all were fine. Xxxx Mummabear , where did you buy the flaxseed oil from? do u know why doctor Fakih advised you against it? TIA

I really dont know how much I would wait between the cycles, i was baby crazy and wanted to keep going. Even if every month. But when Dh didnt want to go IVF route, had no choice but to look at other options to be pg naturally which was almost impossible with blocked tubes and 1mil sperm count! Take a break at least 1 -3 month. Meanwhile try to improve ur health through herbal, accupuncture, etc. i was pessimistic about it but i am living proof what combination of natural treatments can do. Mummabear gave excellent advice. I dont know whats good for PCOS read at Susun Weeds forum and Hethir Rodrigues Natural Fertility info. (i didnt want to hear or talk about natural treatments as it takes time, but while waitng for other cycle why not give a try to heal body and prepare for next cycle if you choose to wait). Do accupuncture fertility one Fertlity massage (hethir rodrigues and plenty on you tube) I took for me: Red Clover (queen of fertility) Royal Jelly Vitex Vit D ( read recently vit d deficiency has a connection to infertility) Vit E (isomer) Vit B Vit C (probiotic) EPO Folic Acid If you dont want to take them individually you can opt for Fertlity Herbs ( cant remember exact name, but similar to fertlity blend but organic)(organic) available at GNC combination of best fertlity hetbs and vits. Available for men & women. For dh: these are not just for increasing the count, but the quality / health of sperms, L arginine ( but he refused to take it) Vit B, C, E, Folic Acid, Zinc. Stay positive and never give up, pamper yourself, your day is coming God willing. Take a short trip on weekend just to re energize and change mood. Eat healthier, walk, swim, etc <em>edited by Flower33 on 07/06/2012</em>

Birchy, try again when you feel ready, I rushed my first two in the same year along with two operations as I wanted a baby now, now, now!! so for my third I took 6 months to relax, and get my body and mind fully recuperated. We also changed clinic and I made sure to take the following vitamins months in advance for my egg quality. Daily Pregnacare 1 tab Coq10 - 400mg Selenium (daily dose cant remember) L Arginine - 1000mg three times daily Royal Jelly -1500mg We also tried to eat organic foods, and I ate loads of protein stuff. My husband also took a sperm vitamin from boots and COQ 10. I also took more time off work after the transfer and made sure to watch really funny happy things that week. I watched the movie the secret on the day of transfer too and this really pumped me up with the positive energy. In the 6 month break we also bought a little puppy, I also think he helped a lot as took my mind off all the negative thoughts and despair I have brought on with the two failed cycles, and made me feel like a mummy which is what I desperately wanted. Its not wrong to feel confused I did too and its totally natural, its just knowing what helps you pull through it, so you are ready for the next cycle. I found that I put a lot of weight on during the cycles so I got back into running as made me feel really good, and when I ran I would have me time to focus on the next ivf positively. I know its hard now, but you will get there, once you believe that it will happen. Hope you feel better soon. Sending you lots of baby dust xxxxx

Hi Birchy, I am so sorry to hear your news. Please try to stay positive, I know it is hard, I had two failed IVFs before I got my BFP on the third attempt, put this cycle behind you and concentrate on the next cycle, it will work, sometimes it just needs more than one attempt. Are you on lots of the vitamins and supplements? Sending you lots of hugs xxxx

Just out of interest how long do you have to wait before trying again after a failed attempt ? I'm soo sorry Birchy I know how it feels and nothing anyone says can make it better.. but don't loose hope. A lot of doctors will say you can start as soon as 2 months after a failed cycle. I suggest a 6 month break, you will need some time to give your soul and your body the rest they need, don't forget all the hormones that's been injected into your body it will take time to get back to it's routine before you start another rollercoaster. Birchy I don't mean to give you false hope but urine test is not reliable, I personaly know cases where the urine test was negative and the blood test turned out to be positive. Do the blood test as soon as you can, it's decisive. lots of hugs xx

interestingly when I went for my prelim appointment with Dr Fakih both he and the assistant doctor said that PCOS can sometimes be an advantage in IVF amongst older women (after I mentioned my polycistic ovaries) as there are more follicles for them to work with. I didnt pursue more information but if that is a major concern perhaps his clinic is the best to try as they see it as an advantage and obviously know how to work with it.

Hi, i have the same issue PCOS but my insulin is normal and I've been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. I tried IUI twice with Conceive but they failed. In December 2011, i had ICSI with Dr. Awatef El Baher in DOFC and thanks god i am 7 months pregnant. She is amazing as well as the nurses and the staff, they are very supportive. I visited Dr. Fakiq but i didn't feel comfortable talking to him he is very materialistic and thinks about money only, although he have high successful rate. I hope this would help :)

Thanks mummabear and flower33 for good suggestion. Mummabear I am very happy after reading your successful story. It's give me a hope and took appointment with doctor fakih in June end. One thing I want to ask you that how much time you are under treatment with fakih and got success. Because I am not in UAE and coming for only treatment. You are on any medication before treatment ? If yes then how much time? I am very crazy for a baby and you can understand me.

Congratulations Mummabear!!! So happy to read success stories! May you have an uneventful months and a safe delivery! Gudd, Its best to consult few drs nd compare. As Mummabear had a success with PCos as u def make an appt for consultation. As for other doctors, I can say only about Dr. Wafa at Healthcare city. http://www.wafafertility.com/introduction.html Met personally with many ladies with complicated cases nd had success with him. Uk trained, Pioneer in his field like dr Fakih. Get additional info and support, cycle buddies from http://www.fertilethoughts.com/ this site was a mind saver for me. Hope this helps
